Katie and Greg Marry at Columbia Club on November 10

I was honored to serve as host to Katie and Greg's guests on their November 10, 2012 wedding at the Columbia Club.  Florist Louise McClenick, Videographer Brenda Weininger, and Photographers from Captured Memories rounded out the couple's vendor team.

This extraordinary match was made by the bride's sister who is happy to take credit for their union.  A year later, after a very lengthy conversation with her parents, Greg asked for Katie's hand in marriage.

After the ceremony, guests were invited to the 3rd floor for the cocktail reception while the couple finished their photos.  Then dinner was served on the 10th floor at the main reception.  Friends of the couple, Damick, Josh, Joe, Abby, Bethany, and Jessie all offered heartfelt toasts as the cake was cut.

Then the couple danced their first to “Cowboys and Angels” followed by the bride and her father taking the floor to “Wind Beneath My Wings”, and the groom and his mother to “What a Wonderful World”.  After enjoying the open dance floor for a while, Katie tossed her bouquet to “Single Ladies” and Greg removed the garter to “Oh Yeah”.

The party continued to the big finish with “Time of My Life” until the main reception ended and the real partiers were invited to join the couple in their after party in the French Room.  Congratulations, Katie and Greg!

Abigail and Benjamin Wed at Central Library November 3

Congratulations to Abagail and Benjamin who were married on November 3, 2012 at the beautiful Central Library.  Photographer Ian Bergerhoff, Coordinator Deborah Bowman, Florist Dream Weddings, strings from the Lockerbie Quartet, and food from Thomas Catering completed the vendor team for their special day.

These Purdue alums met at school when their respective sorority and fraternity houses were located near one another.  Abigail and Benjamon started out friends and ended up soul mates.

After their ceremony, the cocktail reception was held in the Simon Reading Room on the mezzanine level.  Abigail and Benjamin and their wedding party were introduced to “We Found Love” followed by a welcome by Abigail's dad, Randy, and a blessing by Pastor Dave.  Guests then enjoyed their plated meal and the cake was cut to be shared.  Best Man, Sam and Maid of Honor, Brittany, gave heartfelt toasts to the couple.

Then it was time for Abigail and Benjamin to take the dance floor for the first time as hisband and wife to “When I Say I Do”.  Next, Abigail danced with her father to “Never Alone” and Benjamin danced with his mother to “A Mother's Prayer”.  With the staples complete, the dancefloor was open to all.

The bride tossed her bouquet to the single lady guests to “Where Have You Been” and the groom removed her garter to fan favorite, “Ring of Fire”.  Other crowd pleasers included the “Purdue Fight Song” that led to a group photo of the couple's college friends.

After an extremely enjoyable evening, guests sent their happy couple off to their Hawaiian Honeymoon.  Thanks again for allowing me to be a part of your special day!  If you would like help for your next event, please call Jim Cerone at (317) 845-0749 to schedule your appointment.

ASFMRA Education Foundation Auction Event November 1

I was pleased to have the opportunity to entertain the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers at their 83rd annual Convention and Trade Show on November 1, 2012 at the Westin.  This auction event serves at the chapter's fundraiser for ASFMRA Education Foundation.

Becky at the Westin kicked the evening off right with cocktail and food station service while I led the countdown toward the finish of the silent auction.  The silent auction ended with “The Auctioneer Song” to signal the closing of the bids.

After socializing and mingling among participants, the live auction, led by auctioneer Boyd began with a rousing success.  When all items were won by their bidders, the pay out process begun, drawing the event to a close.

Thank you and congratulations to the ASFMRA for a successful fundraising event.  If you would like help for your next event, please call Jim Cerone at (317) 845-0749 to schedule your appointment.

Upon arriving at their party, Jill and Brian along with their wedding party were introduced to “We Are Young” and immediately began their first dance to “Everything".  Jill's dad, Tom welcomed their guests and offered a blessing for the meal.

After dinner, father and daughter danced to “When She Smile at Him”.  Next, the couple cut the cake to “Bubble Toes”.  Toasts were then given by Best Man, Greg, and Matron of Honor, Chris.  Brian then danced with his mom to “Kind and Generous”.

The dancefloor was then open for big fun as guests enjoyed crowd pleasers as well as the couple's requested musical selections.  We sent them off with a big bang with sparklers on their honeymoon to Hawaii.  Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your special day!

Sarah and Jeff Wed at Cornerstone October 13

Thanks to Sarah and Jeff for allowing me to be a part of their special wedding reception at Cornerstone on October 13, 2012.  Photographer Sarah Lawhorn, MCL Catering, and Videographers from IndyVisual completed the vendor team for this great couple.

Sarah and Jeff, both Purdue Alums, met in class.  After several years of dating, Jeff proposed during the fireworks presentation at an Indians game where the couple caught a foul ball!

Following a traditional ceremony at First Presbyterian Church in Muncie, the wedding party was introduced to “Party Rock Anthem” followed by the happy couple's entrance to “We Found Love”.  Sarah's dad, Terry welcomed their guests and the pastors offered a blessing before the plated meal was served.

Sarah and Jeff then cut their cake to “How Sweet It Is” and best man, Scott, and Matron of Honor, Christin, delivered their toasts.  After dessert guests enjoyed the couple's first dance to “This Year's Love” followed by Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances to “My Little Girl” and “What a Wonderful World”.

The dancefloor was open for enjoyment as the couple celebrated long-lasting marriages with an Anniversary Dance.  Among the crowd, we celebrated 55, 56, and 63 years of marriage!

Before dismissing Sarah and Jeff to their Playa Del Carmen Honeymoon, single ladies gathered for the bouquet toss to “This One's for the Girls” and the garter was removed to “Legs”.  Congratulations, Sarah and Jeff!
