1 Minute Wedding Tips - Must Play and Do Not Play Songs

Must Play Songs at Weddings? Do Not Play Songs at Weddings?

The Perfect Host, Jim Cerone, with your One Minute Wedding Tips.

When we meet, I’m gonna ask you all about your music tastes. And, I’ll ask you for 10 Must Play Songs and 10 Do Not Plays songs. Why 10?

When your dance floor is packed, I need to pick the next song fast. Mixing quickly means I don’t have time to look at a long list.

There are songs you don’t want to hear on your wedding day, I totally get it. Many people don’t like line dances, or maybe there’s a song with a bad memory attached you just don’t wanna hear. No problem. I promise not to play it, even if Aunt Betty asks.

But I WILL ask you to keep your list to 10, so I can stay focused on keeping your dance floor packed!
