“…the reception she dreamed of…”

“Jim,

Tom and I wanted to thank you SO much for being such an important part of Natalie and Seth's wedding this past weekend. Everyone had told us you were the consummate professional and they were certainly correct.

The flow of the evening went perfectly because you led us each and every step of the way. And of course, the music was awesome. A packed dance floor was what Natalie and Seth wanted and I don't think I ever saw the dance floor empty. What an evening.

Thank you again! You were a pleasure to work with and you helped give our daughter the reception she dreamed of and that is what we wanted.

Gratefully,
Tom and Rita DeKlyen

The REST of the Story...

The REST of the story...last weekend we were thrilled to help our goddaughter on her wedding day in Chicago.

Her father Doug Cherry and I met when we were 4yrs old - he kicked his mother's car out of gear, rolled backwards in the driveway and crashed into a tree, just as my Mom and I were walking by. His mother came running out of the house shouting, "Douglas! Douglas!" We laugh about it to this day.

We were thick as thieves in high school, cruising endlessly thru the streets of Chicagoland in either his father's silver Lincoln Continental Mark V, or later, Doug's pride and joy - a 1969 Pontiac Firebird. Yes, we were listening to 8 tracks of the Police, REO Speedwagon and AC/DC.

Later, Doug asked me to be best man as he married Dawn. And, of course he was my best man as I married Rosy. Just a few years have passed, but being part of their families' celebration was incredible!!!
