If I’m helping with your wedding ceremony, I’ll ask if you’re writing your own vows to each other. Why do I need to know?
Because then it’s even more important that we use the right microphones so everyone can hear you.
The person marrying you – your officiant – will wear what’s called a lapel mic. The groom will also have a lapel mic. But because there’s no way to hide a mic in a wedding dress, I’ll have a handheld microphone up front for your officiant to grab and they’ll hold it for your vows.
Getting married is the start of your celebration and I’ll do my best to be sure your guests can hear every word.
