How big should your dance floor be?
It’s actually better if your dance floor is a little too small, rather than way too big. Some of your guests may be nervous about dancing – and if you put 100 people on a HUGE dance floor, it still looks empty, and those people will stay in their seats. If the dance floor is smaller but packed – they’ll get up! It’s weird, but it’s psychological.
Another reason is – with a giant dance floor, your guests are literally separated during dinner. They feel miles apart. But a smaller dance floor brings everyone closer together, so they’re all sharing the experience.
Want a better party? Then keep things small. Bring your guests closer together and your dance floor will be packed!
